The Fastpass system saves your place in line. Pick up a Fastpass at the ride entrance (ask a nearby Cast Member for help if you need it) and then "wait your turn" by visiting other areas of the park. Remember to come back during the hours on your Fastpass ticket.

Disneyland – Best Rides to Visit

The best rides are often the most popular rides, so be prepared to wait. But wait times are a small price to pay for the joy of hurling through Space Mountain or smiling for the camera on the way down Splash Mountain.

And the best part? Some of the popular rides – like Autopia, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and even Space Mountain – offer riders a Fastpass. Grab a Fastpass near the ride entrance and come back between designated hours for a shorter wait time.
