Disneyland Tram
The Disneyland tram is a free shuttle service that transports visitors
of the Disneyland Resort to the resort from all parking areas.
Trams operate daily until one hour after the last park closes.
This is wonderful if you decide to leave the parks and check
out what's happening nearby at the hotels or Downtown Disney.
When learning about Disneyland vacation tips, you simply must learn
about your transportation options.
Dream Tip!
Pay attention to your surroundings as you travel to the parks.
You never know what you will see!
Disneyland Tram Tips
- If you have a stroller, head to the very front of back of
the tram for a larger seating area. There's plenty of room
for loading a stoller - no need to fold!
- Look for a tram queue with the least amount of waiting
visitors. However, the tram holds a lot of people, so don't
be discouraged if you're waiting with a lot of people.
- If you miss one tram, the
next tram will be along within
minutes. This is nice when you're traveling with
little ones
who don't want to wait!
- When exiting
the tram, watch your head! The roof
of the tram is lower than it seems.
Other Ways to Get to the Parks
"But what if I've parked
offsite at a nearby parking lot or parking structure?"
You have some options!
You can walk if you've parked in a nearby parking lot.
Overflow lots are pretty close to
the resort. Young visitors may not be happy, but
it's not a bad walk.
If you've been routed to an offsite parking structure, you'll probably
travel to the resort entrance by private bus. This is rather
nice because the
buses
drop off visitors right at the
park entrance!
The one bit of bad news is that if you've been routed to offsite
parking, the parks might be a bit crowded. But if you've
decided to visit later in the day, that may only be a problem for a
short time.
One Final Note...
Pay close
attention to where you park and how you get to the Disneyland tram.
The reason for this is because it is easy to get turned around
as you head to the tram loading area.
Take note of any walkways you use and what level you've parked
on.
But most of all...
