This is a popular event that requires a Fastpass. Arrive at Disney California Adventure as soon as possible and pick up a Fastpass at the Grizzly River Run Fastpass station. Passes do run out, so don't wait.

A nice option is a picnic meal. Purchase one in advance online and enjoy optimal seating and good food. If you can't order ahead, check to see if any unreserved picnic meals are available on the day you visit.
