Enjoy Any Kind of Weather

Disney Theme Parks are open year-round.  Even Disney's Blizzard Beach is open year-round (but Typhoon Lagoon closes October through December!)

Reminder

Prepare for any kind of weather and you raise your chances of enjoying your visit no matter what.

You want to enjoy your Disney vacation whenever you go, so be prepared for any weather (and any need, too.)

Here's how...

  • Plan.  Plan for different kinds of weather.  Dress in layers, bring a hat, pack sunscreen, and bring (or purchasing) a rain slicker if you think there's a chance of getting wet.
  • Drink your water.  Stay hydrated and drink up, whether it's hot or not.
  • Take breaks.  Every once in awhile, slow down and enjoy the day.  If you're not trying to spend all your time on rides, leave the park - remember to get your hand stamped - and explore the surrounding area.  Hotels can be great for sightseeing and grown-ups will enjoy visiting Downtown Disney (California and Florida.)
